We are thrilled to unveil our brand-new Adventure Play and Ninja Tag space, launching 1 August 2026 - designed to bring world-class fun to families of all ages. From a massive, multi-level soft play arena for the little ones to an adrenaline-pumping obstacle challenge for the older kids, there is something here for everyone.

What's available?

• Adventure Soft Play (Ages 0 to 12) 
  Our massive, custom-designed soft play area is a vibrant world of exploration tailored for babies, toddlers, and young children.
  Designed to encourage active play, our colourful arena is packed with the following: 
  - Exciting slides and an immersive "under the sea" ball pit.
  - A dedicated, gentle baby zone and a calming sensory area designed specifically for peaceful, developmental play.
  - Little ones can spark their creativity in our unique role-play spaces—including a market shop, service garage, and potting shed—all named after beloved local landmarks and features!
• Ninja Tag (Ages 5 to 12)
  Ninja Tag is our brand-new, high-energy arena built specifically for older kids. This ninja-style obstacle game tests speed, agility, and strategy as players navigate the course to hit targets and score points. It's the ultimate test of skill and the perfect zone for big kids looking for an adventure of their own.
   

What are the proposed dates?

We are currently on track and running right on schedule!

The new Adventure Play area is expected to open to the public on Saturday 1 August. Following the opening weekend, we will be hosting our official grand opening on Wednesday 4 August at 11:00 AM. We are thrilled to announce that the Mayor of Wyre, along with representatives from Wyre Council and Creating Active Futures, will be in attendance to help us officially cut the ribbon and celebrate this exciting new community space. 
 

How do I book?

Booking your visit is quick and easy! You will be able to reserve your sessions for the new Adventure Play online directly through our website. Online bookings are now open, allowing you to secure your preferred dates and times in just a few clicks.
 

Can I still use the Centre?

Yes, absolutely! The Centre will remain fully open throughout the final stages of the build. Because the new Adventure Play and Ninja Tag zone is a completely separate space, the works will not impact any of our current day-to-day operations. You can continue to visit and enjoy all of our existing facilities exactly as normal.
 

How will I know what’s going on?

We will send out emails with full details, notification via the Leisure Centre mobile app and provide updates on our social media channels.
